Retail Sales Associate

A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties. They are the first interaction with customers who enter the store and are a vital component to the success of the company.

General Duties Include:

• Provide exceptional customer service to each and every customer and Member
• Promptly greet and engage with customers as they enter
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records
• Manage financial transactions
• Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards
• Answer phone calls and provide information
• Keep floor stocked with merchandise
• Assist in displaying merchandise and organizing the retail floor and stock areas
• Expand knowledge of products so customer questions can be properly addressed

Skills & Qualifications

• Firearms experience and knowledge is required
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including having an approachable and friendly manner
• Good time and task management skills, including prioritizing and changing tasks easily
• A flexible schedule
• Attention to detail
• Enjoys building customer relationships
• Ability to follow direction or take initiative as the situation requires
• Ability to listen and discern a customer’s questions to correctly suggest the best products and services
• Ability to multi-task and handle fast-paced transactions

This is a full-time position, and must be able to work weekends. Salary is $15 – $18/hr depending on experience. Benefits available to full-time employees.
