Pistol 3 is an advanced, 2-hour course designed for experienced shooters with a strong grasp of handgun fundamentals who are ready to take their skills to the next level. You’ll move out of the stalls and downrange as you refine your foundation and begin working with defensive pistol techniques. This course is taught entirely on the range with no classroom time.

• Refining Established Handgun Fundamentals
• Holster Draw and Consistent Presentation
• Reloads
• Multiple-Target Engagements
• Drawing and Shooting on the Move

Required Equipment:

• Handgun and 3 Magazines
• Eye and Ear Protection
• 200–250 Rounds of Ammunition (available for purchase)
• Kydex or Similar Hard-Plastic Holster Mounted to the Belt

Strong-side OWB and AIWB holsters are allowed. Holsters positioned behind the hip bone, cross-draw holsters and off-body carry are not allowed. Sticky Holsters and similar holsters that are not attached to the belt are not allowed.

What To Know Before You Get Here:

Pistol 3 is an advanced course and is not intended for beginners. Students are expected to have a firm grasp of handgun fundamentals and be able to safely and independently handle, load, unload and operate their firearm.

Completion of Pistol 1 and Pistol 2 is not required, but both courses are strongly encouraged before taking Pistol 3.
