Private lessons give you dedicated time with an instructor to work on exactly what you need. You can come in with something specific you want to work on, or if you’re completely new and don’t know where to start, that’s fine too. Your instructor can start at the beginning and take it from there.

Already have some experience? A private lesson can focus on a particular skill, a problem you’ve been trying to correct or an area of shooting you want to spend more time on.

What You Need

You are welcome to bring your own firearm, or a firearm rental is included with your lesson. Targets, eye protection and ear protection are also included.

Plan to bring or purchase 50-100 rounds of ammunition. Ammunition is not included. If you use one of our rental firearms, ammunition must be purchased from Defender Outdoors.

Scheduling Your Lesson

Private lessons are available by appointment on weekdays, evenings and weekends. Once you register and submit payment, we’ll contact you, typically within 24 hours, to talk about what you’d like to work on and schedule your session date and time.
