Our premiere attraction
Sporting Clays is a lot like golf with a shotgun. Designed to simulate field shooting, the game offers a variety of targets from random locations. Each shooting station is unique and will offer different challenges. All skill levels can play the game, and we assure you that everyone will have a great time.
We have FIVE separate Sporting Clay courses: Cowtown, Ranch, Outlaw, Rock Creek and Lone Star. The Cowtown, Ranch, Rock Creek and Outlaw courses have 14 shooting stations, giving the ability to “play through” while casual shooting. Our 6-station Lone Star super sporting course is great for lots of variety in a short course with 3 machines per station. Unlike many other ranges, Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch resets each shooting station every few weeks, so you’ll never get bored with our courses. Our targets are set by President Travis Mears, Course Manager Gary Madigan, and Christian Daniels
Our courses are small enough to walk, but if you like to travel in style, we have golf carts available for a rental fee. Come out and join us for a day of clay shooting and excitement.
They aren’t hard to hit, they’re just easily missed.
